Word of the Day: Mayor
A mayor is someone who is very social. The mayor type doesn't just socialize with anyone though, the mayor knows the creme de la creme and gets VIP treatment. A minor celebrity, the mayor is seen on the scene and appears frequently in the social pages of magazines, newspapers and other publications.
As used in a sentence:
Maggie: What are you up to tonight Tanner?
Tanner: Um, I'm going to meet some friends at the basketball game we're sitting courtside, then we're going to dinner at the Forge and after that we'll probably hit the Keys.
Maggie: The Keys?
Tanner: Yeah, my friend has a jet and we're going down to his condo in the keys for some after hours action. It should be fun.
Maggie: Wow Tanner, you're such a MAYOR!
